So some cheap costume ideas...
1) Refrigerator magnet: get a black box (or paint a small box black) and attach it to your back
2) Chick magnet: attach Barbies/baby dolls/rubber chickens to yourself
3) Bubble wrap: blow up ziploc bags and attach to yourself
4) State Employee: wear worn out/holey clothes. Get a ziploc bag and fill with spare change. Write in a marker on the front "Bank Account" and carry it with you.
5) Black-eyed Pea: Write on a white t-shirt "P". Take black face paint or makeup and blacken an eye.
6) Brain Donor: Wear a hospital gown or bathrobe, wrap your head in gauze with a bit of fake blood seeping through the bandage and draw dark circles under your eyes. Carry a clear jar with you that is filled with water and cauliflower.
7) Cereal Killer: Take empty cereal boxes insert/stab with plastic forks (add fake blood) and attach to your clothes or just carry it around with you.
8) Smartie Pants: Take an old pair of pants or sweatpants and attach Smarties brand candy.
9) Freudian slip: Get a one-piece slip and write FREUD on it with a black marker
10) ID/Facebook profile/Myspace profile: Get cardboard, cut out a square for your face and fill in/make headings for the various information depending on which you are doing.
